QClaw WeChat Integration Setup

How to bind QClaw to WeChat and control your desktop remotely β€” complete guide tested by the QClaw Tieba moderator.

WeChat integration is what makes QClaw unique among OpenClaw variants. Once bound, you send a WeChat message from your phone β€” QClaw executes it on your desktop. The binding takes about 30 seconds. Here is exactly how to do it.

Step 1 Download the right installer

Visit claw.guanjia.qq.com and download for your system. QClaw is in invite-only beta β€” you will need an invite code during installation.

  • Windows: download the .exe installer
  • Mac Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3): download the arm64 .dmg
  • Mac Intel: download the x64 .dmg
Which Mac chip? Click the Apple menu β†’ About This Mac. "Apple M" = Apple Silicon. "Intel" = Intel build.

Step 2 Install and initialise

  • Run the installer β€” double-click, follow the prompts
  • Enter your invite code when prompted
  • Choose Chinese as the language and select a local storage folder
  • The bundled Kimi model is active during beta β€” no API key needed
  • Installation is complete when the main interface appears
Mac Gatekeeper: If macOS blocks QClaw, go to System Settings β†’ Privacy & Security β†’ click "Allow Anyway" next to QClaw.

Step 3 Bind WeChat

  • In QClaw, go to Settings β†’ WeChat Integration
  • A QR code appears β€” scan it with your phone's WeChat
  • Confirm the binding prompt that appears in WeChat
  • Status shows "Connected" when successful

Note: QClaw connects through Tencent PC Manager's official service channel β€” not as a direct WeChat contact. This is the officially approved integration method.

Step 4 Test remote control

In WeChat, find the PC Manager message window and send these test commands:

  • "Create a folder called Test on my desktop" β€” tests filesystem access
  • "What files are on my desktop?" β€” tests read access
  • "What can you do?" β€” gets a capability overview
No response? Confirm QClaw is still running in the system tray (Windows) or Dock (Mac). Reconnect WeChat in Settings if needed.
