No. QClawHub.net is an independent community site maintained by the QClaw Baidu Tieba moderator and Weibo super-topic host. It has no official relationship with Tencent. The official QClaw site is qclaw.qq.com.
Is the content on this site accurate?
We do our best to keep content accurate and up to date, but QClaw is in active beta and things change. Always treat official channels as the authoritative source. If you spot an error, please let us know.

Does QClaw send my data to Tencent?
QClaw is a local deployment β your conversations and files stay on your own machine. Depending on which bundled AI model you use, that model may make API calls to process your input. If data privacy is critical, review the model's own terms before use.
Is it safe to give QClaw WeChat access?
The WeChat binding lets QClaw receive your messages and respond to commands. It does not get access to your entire WeChat history. Still, set clear behavioural rules in SOUL.md β particularly around what it should never do without confirmation.

Is QClaw free?
During the beta period, the default bundled models are available without token charges. Post-beta pricing has not been announced. Check qclaw.qq.com for the latest.
Troubleshooting
WeChat binding succeeded but QClaw is not responding
1. Confirm QClaw is still running (check the system tray on Windows, or Dock on Mac)
2. Check Settings β WeChat Integration β the status should show "Connected"
3. If disconnected, re-scan the QR code
4. Restart QClaw and try again

Mac install is blocked by Gatekeeper
Go to System Settings β Privacy & Security. You should see a message about QClaw being blocked β click "Allow Anyway". This is a standard macOS security prompt for apps from outside the App Store.
